About
Laura is a background artist and Los Angeles transplant from Griswold, CT.
Since moving to California in 2017, they’ve had the opportunity to work in a wide range of creative industries. Prior to breaking into animation, they worked as a Graphic Designer for a prop studio in North Hollywood, where they designed and produced printed props for TV, movies, and commercials. Before that, they worked at a custom signage shop in Irvine, creating dimensional signs and vinyl graphics for various businesses.
Upon pivoting to animation in 2020, Laura has worked as a background painter on several 2D animated series (Final Space, Beavis & Butt-Head, TheOdd1sOut, and- most recently- an unannounced pilot for ComedyCentral, which they are very excited about!)
Outside of work, Laura enjoys hiking and camping, caring for injured honeybees, whittling, and walking their two kitties: Ziggy Stardust & Eddie Van Halen!
